Did you know that with the advancement of television & cable, satellite TV, and video games, literacy has gone down for children?  Kids don’t read books as often anymore even though it has been proven that having books accessible for children drastically improves their intelligence.  Therefore, there has been measures taken for effective and fun methods to upgrade a child’s reading skills.

 

At the Smart Kids Digital Tutoring Center kindergartners can now use our newest program, Learning Letter Sounds (LLS), to develop proper pronunciation skills as well as teaching children how to read more fluently than the rest of his or her peers.  Not only is it statistically proven to increase a child’s reading capability, your child will also gain independent working skills, better concentration and patience, and will also even get hands-on experience with computers.  

 

This fun program is developed by Dr. Donald Durrell and Dr. Helen Murphy of the Boston University for emerging readers, and strategically uses adaptive assessments and repetition methods specifically designed for kindergarten (and ESL) children.  The Program is fun and is guaranteed to work alongside many visual and auditory aids that provides the child with the motivation to keep on moving.  With this program, effective and very detailed evaluations, reviews, and reports can even determine which phonics sounds your child is having difficulties with so that we could personally aid your child on what he or she needs help with.
